Each year, OSAC solicits nominations for the OSAC Achievement Awards, which recognize contributions made by representatives of the U.S. Department of State and the private sector. Since 1995, OSAC has publicly recognized those who have made an extraordinary effort and lasting impact in pursuit of its mission.
This year, OSAC received a total of 49 nominations for the following three awards:
- Distinguished Achievement Award: Honors a U.S. Department of State representative or group, or a private-sector representative or group, for significant contributions to enhancing the ability of U.S. organizations to protect their personnel and assets, and intellectual property;
- Common Interest Committee (CIC) Achievement Award: Recognizes a CIC for significant contribution to its members and the greater OSAC constituency; and
- Country Chapter Achievement Award: Highlights one Country Chapter for excellent OSAC partnership excellence in the areas of Leadership, Innovative Networking, Crisis or Incident Response, and Standards, Service, & Quality.
